During Wednesday’s worship time, our friend Jeff, sober for four years and baptized in January after he “found Jesus,” requested special prayer for all with addictions. He wants them to know that they “don’t have to do drugs or alcohol to take away their pain, because God takes away all that pain.”  Jeff hopes we can “all realize that we are all family, and that we all need to take care of each other. If we did, it could stop all wars, all hunger, all the nonsense, if we could just see all people as our brothers and sisters.”
