WELCOME FROM HAYWOOD STREET:

UPDATES:

We are a bit blown away with the generosity of sock company, Bombas.
For every pair of socks sold, Bombas donates a pair to someone in need.
This week, Haywood Street received 1,000 pairs of socks that are now
being distributed via our clothing closet. We give thanks for this
abundance and such a generous gift.
Wednesday brought a beautiful Welcome Table meal, lovingly prepared
by partner restaurants Luella’s BBQ and 828 Family Pizzaria.
Calling all potters! Haywood Street’s Empty Bowls fundraiser is just
around the corner (Sept 21) and we could use more hand-made bowls!
If you are a potter and interested in making a donation, please contact
Brook.
Haywood Street is seeking volunteers who are proficient in ASL to
assist our deaf and hard-of-hearing friends during Worship
(Wednesdays 12:15-1:15 and Sundays 3:30-4:30). Please contact Brook
if you are interested.
