G.I.F.T.S. stands for Growing in Faith Through Service, a Sunday School class at Central UMC.  But to us it refers to a different kind of gift.

This is the group that has collected goodies, packed and distributed them to Friends at Haywood St. in each of the past five years.  As the ministry has grown, this is a huge undertaking.

Here are some of the class members handing out the colorful red bags during our Christmas feast a couple of weeks ago. Thank you to all, including members of Central UMC who donated supplies and bus tickets to fill 400 gift bags!
