Joe Rob’s Restored Dreams Project, bringing diverse populations together through the arts, staged a second event yesterday on the grounds of HSC. This new Multi-cultural Folk Fest showcased the talents of some up-and-coming local musicians, as well as the popular and gifted bluegrass team, the Buckner family. Terry, from HSC’s Story Circle, shared “The Man in the Circle,” a story she wrote about a homeless man she knows. Others joined in the afternoon’s celebration with impromptu clogging demonstrations, and the line for hot dogs formed in record time. Overall, we pronounced the event a roaring success, and wish to thank all who pitched in to help make it happen!
