A HAYWOOD STREET UPDATE FROM: KELLY
This morning, we are re-sharing this StoryShare from a few years back. It features long-time Haywood Street Companion/current board member, Kelly, and our beloved Miss Mary. Their friendship began at Haywood Street and continues to this day.
Some of you know Miss Mary had surgery last week and many have reached out to check on her. Kelly has been in touch with Miss Mary every day, connecting with her both by phone and at the rehab center where she is currently healing. We are grateful to share the news that Miss Mary is in good spirits, making great progress and anxiously awaits getting back to feeding her extended, Haywood Street family.
Kelly and Mary’s friendship is a shining example of the unlikely bonds that form at Haywood Street and the beauty that comes from prioritizing relationship, above all else.
