Juanita is eliciting cheers from the Story Circle as she jingles the long-hoped-for KEYS to an apartment – one with enough rooms to have three of her young daughters move in with her (she has ten children in all, including two sets of twins). Holding down two jobs already just to pay for this, she’ll still need to round up furnishings. “One step at a time,” she proudly and happily declares.

After years of difficult struggles, Juanita has been working very hard to turn her life around. She is well on her way now, and gives God the credit for strength to face each day. She is truly an inspiration!
