In the absence of both our Pastors, Brian Combs and Shannon Spencer, Julie Wilburn-Peeler and Luke Lingle, Associate Pastors at Central UMC, were in charge of our worship hour today. Perhaps we learned a bit more than we need to know about the contents of a whale’s stomach, but Julie’s sermon on Jonah gave us real food for thought (pun intended), and Luke did an admirable job with other parts of the service.

Both are familiar faces at Haywood. We appreciate their presence, participation, dedication, and creativity!
