HSC’s Story Circle will be featured this Saturday afternoon at 3:00 at the first ever Multicultural Arts Festival at Triangle Park. As part of the entertainment our own Marvin Cole will be telling his hilarious outhouse story, and Barbara Bates Smith will be performing one of her stirring vignettes.
The festival has been instigated and planned by our friend Joe Rob, also a faithful participant in Story Circle. Joe Rob is known for his beautiful wood carving, and has delighted us each week with new and different hiking sticks and other carved pieces, many of which he will be offering for sale. Festival hours are Noon until 10:00 p.m., with open mic sessions and a band performing in the evening. We hope you will come out and enjoy the afternoon with us!
