Tom is a member of Epworth UMC in Concord, NC.  He has come to Haywood with his church every summer except one since 2012 through the Carolina Cross Connection HOME program.  He contacted us a few weeks ago with the offer to spend his week of vacation helping with projects around the campus.  “Anything you need,” he said.

Well, as a 20+ year Home Depot employee, Tom has lots of skills and knowledge.  On day one he and Keith installed new carpet on the main stairs.  Day two, painting.  Days three and four, odds and ends of moving furniture, organizing supplies and storage areas.
